Blending collaborative and independent creative vision with technical proficiency resulting in new business opportunities and brand awareness for luxury and premium leaders such as Tumi, and Louis Vuitton for over 20 years.

Louis Vuitton

During my tenure at Louis Vuitton my designs helped to achieve +20% growth in the travel category each year.

For the permanent heritage collection I modernized the following travel essentials:
Garment Bag became lighter, with innovative new light weight coated canvas I initiated.
Bag Hook to assist in carrying well loved classics.
Designed perfect fit Travel Pouches & travel Jewelry Box to hold everything from small accessories to larger well-loved items.

I worked directly with Virgil Abloh (mostly via Whattsapp), resulting in wheeled luggage offered in the Men’s show animation.

A first for the house.

Virgil and I worked on this together and was design approved before our departures from the house.

As a creative I propose silhouettes and seasonal color and material options when I see a need in a line plan or market segmentation. Here are two of my favorites I proposed at Louis Vuitton which the All-in Bag alone brought in over 15 million dollars in sales from its launch in 2017.

While seemingly impractical The Ballerina Pink Horizon Luggage became so successful it stayed in the collection for more than 1 year after initial seasonal buy-in.

Tumi

From 2011 - mid 2016 I contributed to over 10 million dollars in annual sales per collection I had the opportunity to design and development from concept stage through production approval.

We can say I had the opportunity to show my flexibility as a designer as I work on projects as varied as feminine Anna Sui collaborations to military styled travel collections.

Anna Sui x Tumi

I met and worked directly with Anna Sui for this limited edition travel collection that was a quickly sold out exclusive for Isetan, Japan in 2011.

Every detail was considered from the zipper pullers to the luggage tag and lining all designed with Anna Sui and functionality in mind.

Kettle One x Tumi

No detail was left to chance on this extraordinary project for this Mixologist set.

The Fremont Collection was designed with strong military details. The collection range encompassed toiletry kits, days bags, back packs and rolling luggage. Over the seasons it has been animated in multiple materials that have attracted many different clients.
